Teacher Kwak and his two apprentices provide an excellent teacher-to-student ratio, offering personalized 1:1 guidance catering to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced potters. ■ This masterclass is ideal for those looking to work with clay at a large scale. It also suits experienced handbuilders wishing to acquire new skills, streamline workflow, or diversify techniques. You will learn ancient, efficient movements used by generations of Korean potters, deepening your connection with clay in a rewarding and enriching experience. ■ Key techniques and concepts will be covered in detail. Learn every stage, from understanding regional influences and clay preparation to traditional coiling (Taryeom-jil), paddling the form (Surae-jil), final shaping (Geun-gae-jil), rim finishing (Jeon-tae), decorative scribing, and the traditional cloth lifting method.
