Service Description
Participants will get an overview of AMACO’s glaze families through a guided presentation and demo, including tips for reading glaze labels, layering effects, and best practices for application. Then, you’ll get to glaze your own bisque-fired work using a wide selection of AMACO pint samples—many of which will remain in the studio for continued exploration. Bring 3–4 small bisque-fired pieces and any personal or studio test tiles you’d like to experiment on. Underglaze pencils, cups, and other materials will be provided to help document your tests and share materials easily. Firing fees are included. This 3-hour workshop is ideal for potters of all experience levels who want to deepen their understanding of midrange glazes and explore creative new combinations. Disclaimer: Registration for this workshop is non-refundable. No refunds, credits, or make-up sessions will be provided for cancellations or missed classes.
